About the Role

You will be responsible for working with the Software Development Manager to support the continuous improvement, support and testing of Software Application.

This is very much a hands-on role. You will be the technical administrator in the delivery of new application functionality into the business, ensuring the end product is delivered to specification, on-time and adheres to any agreed quality standards.  Working closely with the Software Team, Internal and External Customers and Test team to agree design and functionality.

You will ensure the smooth day to day running of our applications and environments, work with the Software Development Manager to ensure that service levels are met, and identity any opportunity for improving the existing application landscape. You will also be involved in the acceptance and prioritisation of additional business requirements to amend our current applications as and when they arrive.

Take user requirements and document into tight specifications.

Interpret business requirements and technical specification documents

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working on their own for periods, be able to work to deadlines, think on their feet, take responsibility and work under their own initiative. An excellent inter-personal manner is essential, always adopting a clear, positive, friendly but decisive approach.
