An experienced graduate with CIPD and BPS or SHL registration with a track record of achievement and promotion in a generalist or specialised HR role?

This is a new role with the opportunity to set the key HR priorities within the business – the successful candidate will be part of the senior management team reporting directly to the CEO. You would manage an HR Team and provide a recruitment service for our teams based throughout the UK. The HRBP will be responsible for all aspects of HR, including recruitment, performance management, employee relations and learning and development. They will optimise CHS Healthcare’s human resources by planning, implementing, and policies, programmes and practices. You will ensure a safe and supportive environment for all employees and help shape the organisational culture.
Duties and Responsibilities
Establishment of performance management across the business to include yearly objective setting and appraisals.
Handling employment relations issues such as grievances and employee welfare.
Managing the recruitment process, including CV screening, interviewing candidates and evaluating and developing our current telephone, competency based, psychometric screening process.
Overseeing staff attendance and absence monitoring.
Providing detailed HR reports to the senior management team.
Leading the teams responsible for the administration of employee-related paperwork.
Leading new starter company inductions.
Managing talent pools and succession plans to ensure the company can continue to operate in the future.
Overseeing training and development of employees.
Qualifications and Skills
Graduate with CIPD qualification ideally with BPS registration/SHL level 2 or similar
Experience – 3 to 5 five years’ experience in a general or specialised HR role in an organisation with a reputation for cutting edge HR initiatives
Management of teams- a track record of recruiting their own team and developing their talents to improve productivity
This is an amazing opportunity for an HR professional to develop their career. We currently outsource parts of the role but are keen to bring all aspects in-house. One of our non-executive board members is an ex HR Director so can initially support you in establishing KPIs but is due to retire within the next year.
You may be a generalist number 2 in an established business looking for your first HR management role or an HR manager looking for greater challenges and independence. We would also consider an ambitious specialist who is 2-3 years out of a reputable HR graduate scheme but keen to progress to an all-round role. Health sector experience is not essential. More importantly, you have worked in a place of excellence that values its staff, recruits through psychometric /competency-based systems and develops its talented employees.
