
Dr Richard Newland
Chief Executive
Richard graduated from Cambridge University in 1984 and completed his medical studies at St Mary's Hospital, London, before becoming a full time GP in 1991 at Sutton Coldfield. Richard still practices medicine as well as having overall managerial responsibility for Carehome Selection.

Annemarie Fitzpatrick
Business Development Manager
Annemarie joined Carehome Selection as Business Development Manager in May 2008. After graduating from Oxford University in 2002 with a degree in English Literature, she joined the NHS Graduate Training Scheme, and held various positions in the NHS. She was formerly Head of Continuing Care at Harrow PCT, and comes to Carehome Selection with a particular focus on developing services to PCTs.

Carole Thain
Information and Systems Manager
Carole joined Carehome Selection in 2003 and manages our Head Office in Sutton Coldfield. Carole became the lead contact for all care homes and oversaw the credit control and administration function of Carehome Selection. Carole has recently taken on a new role of IT trainer and project manager.

Tony Wintrip
Office Co-ordinator
Tony joined Carehome Selection as an Adviser in 2001 after more than 30 years working for West Midlands Police. He was promoted to Coordinator in 2004 and in June 2008 he moved to head up the Administration team at head office.

Rachael Hardbattle
Regional Manager (North)
Rachael was a practising Family Law Solicitor until 1999. She joined Carehome Selection as an Adviser in November 2002 and was promoted to Leicester Hospital Coordinator in August 2005. Further promotion followed in January 2009 when she took on the role of Regional Manager being responsible for the company’s operations in the West Midlands and the North.

Susan Adams
Regional Manager (South)
Susan worked for Carehome Selection for 12 years, beginning as an adviser, then working in several roles and finally as Operation Manager. Early in 2009 she left on a 'gap year' and has now returned to head up our London teams and grow our business in the south of England.

Gail McGhie
Regional Co-ordinator
Gail began as an Adviser for Carehome Selection in Sept 2004 and bought her vast sales and marketing experience to her role. She was promoted to Coordinator for Worcestershire in July 2005 and is responsible for all the hospitals across Worcestershire. Gail's versatility has enabled her role to develop to include training and new business development responsibilities.
