Carehome Selection is commissioned by Haringey Primary Care Trust to provide a range of services to support the management of elderly care

Carehome Selection has been commissioned by Haringey Primary Care Trust to undertake key roles in the management of elderly care placements.
Haringey PCT has purchased the Caretrack database, a tailor-made system which harmonises financial and administrative information about thousands of care placements.
This enables PCTs to better manage large numbers of placements, maintain accurate information and easily project future costs.
Carehome Selection offers a range of services in addition to the Caretrack database. In Haringey, Carehome Selection specialists will be carrying out a datacleanse – checking, verifying and entering up-to-date data on all adult care placements.
The same service was recently provided and successfully completed for Liverpool PCT.
Carehome Selection has a track record of working with north London primary care trusts to improve placement services and reduce costs.
Chief Executive of Carehome Selection Dr Richard Newland explains: “By purchasing the Caretrack database and data cleansing, primary care trusts have the benefit of a fit for purpose database, specifically designed for holding a large amount of information about care placements.
“By combining this with datacleanse, the primary care trust has a system which functions extremely well and the knowledge that all information on that database is correct and up-to-date.”
